THE STORY SO FAR: The Goodnight Anthem's resume isn't especially long (they've been a band about a year), it's brimming with ample qualifications. "In the short time we've been together, we've made unbelievable progress," says drummer Max Perla. Their sunny pop-punk has been lauded on Smartpunk.com (where they're consistently among the Top 10 unsigned artists) and TheDailyChorus.com, and they've opened for the likes of Bayside, All Time Low and Automatic Loveletter.
WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: They aren't looking for any handouts, and they sure don't plan on riding any coattails. "We all have been musicians our entire lives," says Perla. "We're an extremely hard-working band who are determined to play our songs for as many people as humanly possible." In fact, you might have caught them on tour with the Years Gone By and the Scenic. "We have the experience, the drive and the songwriting talent to take ourselves straight to the top."
