Motion City Soundtrack unveil "Her Words Destroyed My Planet" video

On the eve of their 4th record, Minneapolis based Motion City Soundtrack have released the video for their single "Her Words Destroyed My Planet." The song is off their latest record, My Dinosaur Life, which will be released next Tuesday, January 19th, via Columbia Records.

Watch a new trailer for the upcoming Blink-182 documentary

A new teaser trailer has been posted online for The Blinkumentary, a documentary about the reunion of Blink-182. The video focuses on the band as they play their first tour since returning from hiatus and work on their first new album since their self-titled 2003 full-length. Warner Bros. drops Gallows due to low album sales

British newspaper The Guardian is reporting that Warner Bros. have dropped hardcore act Gallows.

The article states the band's sophomore album and sole release for the label, Grey Britain, went on to sell 20,000 copies in the U.K. and 50,000 worldwide; figures that were likely well below the label's expectations.

Exclusive: The Rocket Summer reveal art for upcoming album

Altpress.com is proud to present an exclusive first look at the cover art for the upcoming album by the Rocket Summer. Of Men And Angels is the first full-length from the band since 2007's Do You Feel.

Frontman Bryce Avary told us the story behind the album artwork: "With this cover, I wanted to capture my perceived reality of how when life can be rough, perhaps sometimes things are actually supposed to be even worse than they are," he said. "You have to remain hopeful and faithful throughout trials even when it can be hard to. I wanted to illustrate a moment that showed someone leaning up against a wall pondering, perhaps focusing on the problems of life, but unbeknownst to this person, on the other side of the wall is an angel blocking so much trouble from him. I think it's a cool and hopeful idea and I'm really happy with how it turned out. 2.23.10, peeps!!"
