Exclusive: Initials reveal new drummer Josh Eppard (ex-Coheed And Cambria)

Alternative Press - Tim Karan on 12/3/09 @ 12:08 PM - altpress.com

Initials--the new group featuring Fred Mascherino (the Color Fred) and Andy Jackson (Hot Rod Circuit) and bassist Steve Lucarelli (ex-Once Nothing)--have officially announced Josh Eppard (ex-Coheed And Cambria) as their drummer. The original lineup included drummer Anthony Martone (ex-VersaEmerge).

Mascherino explains:
"We'd been trying out a bunch of drummers looking for the right fit. We had some shows coming up and Anthony Martone took the time to do us a huge favor and learn the songs and play them with us. Since the lineup hadn't been totally solidified yet, and Anthony had other projects coming up, we wanted to makes sure we were all committed to Initials, and that's when Josh [Eppard] walked in and the chemistry was solid. Anthony is a good friend and an amazing drummer, and we wish him well on his other projects!"

Mascherino and Jackson first introduced the band exclusively to Altpress.com in October. Check out the interview here. Check out an exclusive video from Eppard and the band below.
